About the Artist

I'm Christina Valentine, a fine art painter and dual citizen of the United States and Italy. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Hudson Valley, New York, I came to painting by way of an unlikely path — an MA in English Literature, training as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, and working in tech.

Each chapter turned out to be formative. I eventually found my way to the Milan Art Institute, where I studied painting and discovered the work I was meant to be doing.

My pieces — including originals like Do Not Fear, Midnight Bloom, and Spring Awakening — reflect that layered history: a love of language and meaning, a transatlantic sensibility, and a deep curiosity about what paint can hold.
